If you’re looking for an officiant for your (bilingual) wedding ceremony look no further. I am available for ceremonies mainly in the north of Germany as well as in and around Berlin, but I am also happy to travel for you throughout Germany and worldwide.
I grew up in the beautiful state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (close to the Baltic Sea) and have been living in Berlin for several years. I’ve also spent quite a bit of time in the US and Mexico. Over the years I have met so many different people from various cultures and have always found it super fascinating to learn about their individual stories. Being an officiant now I love to dive into your unique story and shape it into something beautiful for your wedding ceremony.
I’ve never been afraid to talk in front of other people which has helped me a lot back in school when giving presentations. However, I never actually thought that this would later turn out to be part of my job. When speaking at my uncle’s funeral a few years ago it struck me that this is something I should be doing. So, I took a leap in 2022 and signed up for a course with RedeKunstWerk in Osnabrück that led me to be a certified speaker/officiant for funerals and weddings.
And what can I say? I don’t think I’ve ever done anything in my life that is as meaningful and rewarding as accompanying people through very emotional moments in their lives. Finding the right words that perfectly tell your story – that’s what I want to do. If at the end of your wedding ceremony you tell me that you’ve laughed and cried the entire time, then that’s the biggest compliment.
